Tax Deductions for Hotel Employees
Some deductions that may be available to hotel
employees include:

Competitions, courses and conferences as well
as travel costs associated with them;

Memberships to unions and professional
associations;

Cost of purchasing, maintaining and laundering
compulsory uniforms;

Cost of renewing gaming licenses and other
licences. Note, RSA costs will not be deductible unless it is for a
renewal and you are already employed in a hotel. RSG will be
deductible if you are already working in a hotel.
Hotel employees may also be entitled to general tax
deductions that are not work specific, such as investment deductions or
car expenses deductions. |
